The 2nd Annual South Texas 4-H Shoot Out
I want to thank all of those that came and participated last year in our 1st Annual South Texas 4-H Shoot Out. We look forward to having you back again this year. The format will remain the same this year.
It will be held on March 27, 2010, at Keystone Ranch in Pearsall, Texas.

The format is a little different than most 4-H events. It is intended to be a Fun Family Shoot and was patterned after our successful Youth/Adult Team event at the Big Blast. It will be a Whiz-Bang Qualifier for the 4-H kids and there will be a Whiz-Bang field for the adults and non-4H youth as well. The main event will be a Youth/Adult Team shoot consisting of 300 targets. Youth will shoot 100 Sportings Clays on a 12 station course and a 50 bird Whiz-Bang on Charlie's setup. Adults will shoot 100 Sporting Clays with their Youth partner and a seperate 50 bird Whiz-Bang course to complete the 300 bird team score.

Besides the team event, we will also have individual awards for 4-H shooters and an open division for Adults, non-4H youth, and guests.
